Thank you for your lessons even better that the actual pro...!!!! my game has been improving so pretty hitting better
Sam LeBlanc (5 months ago)
@2:12 WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!!! Take a look at any decent ball striker at impact. The shoulders are most definitely open to the target at impact. "Shoulders parallel at impact" promotes hip slide and stalling out. That's a recipe for terrible impact and weak drives

Cheers for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Paneevelyn Swinging Clubsman (probably on Google)? It is a great one of a kind product for revealing an effortless golf swing technique minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my good mate called Gray at last got great success with it.

I have been playing golf for about Two decades, struggling to break 90. I wasn`t able to achieve an exceptional round for the last 3-4 years until I finished reading through these golf swing secrets “kaha shocking guide” (Google it). I`ve been striving with my irons (driver OK but not much distance).
Adrian DePietro (1 year ago)
ill be honest okay video i won't lie I've been looking around seeing what people/"tour coaches" have to say about swings from drivers to wedges, i will give you credit of some pointers you said but i believe you have missed a lot of info for average golfers 1st. for just any golfer especially with a driver you need to keep you body still as much as you can when in your back swing and then follow ahead when coming down to the golf ball keeping your head down when you pull your head up the face of the club opens up and most likely top the ball or slice it 2nd idk why no videos talk about this but the main key to get the ball in the air is the change of the weight from your left side of your body to your right side of your body from back swing to down swing . for a righty in your back swing there is some weight you have in you right foot but when you come down on your follow through your full force should lift to you the left side of your body, but keep your balance thats KEY no need to kill the ball its all about tempo!!!!!!..... idk why no one talks about this, honestly one of the main important aspect for your driver swing and any swing of any club besides hitting down with irons which is what you do when changing motion from one side to another anyways..... for lefties same thing I'm a righty but just vice versa with the back swing and follow through 3rd..... one major technique you should do, IK ALOT OF PROS SAY THIS DONT HATE IF YOU HERD IT AT AN ACTUAL LESSON, is keep your eye on one spot of the ball, even after you swing i want and every coach will want you to look at a spot on the ground or ball and still look at that same spot after you swing, by doing this you will follow fully through you swing and be able to get full momentum hitting down and across the ball, really should help slicing..... if someone is watching, honestly doesn't matter lol you will feel the difference of following through and a great difference in the straightness of your driving hope this helps thank you Adrian DePietro, avid golfer

Going to give this a try, seems good advice. I need to be more consistent, only play off 25 but some drives are straight and some left or right. I got told your left hand should be a tight squeeze and right like holding a bird but this is different so I'll try this.
James Tombs (3 years ago)
Your left hand is for holding onto the club, it has to be tight it it will fly out of your hand. And your right is literally for controlling the club. You move the club with your right into the direction you want it to go

mike sleight (3 years ago)
How to hit a long drive. Step 1.wait till Dustin Johnson hits a drive, step 2. Run past security and all officials that stand between you, and that long drive, step 3. Repeatedly punch the ball until you feel you've successfully hit a long drive. Good luck!
Mango (3 years ago)
See now I'm confused. I was taught to push my left hip forward (so it's above the left foot) and always keep most of my weight on my left leg and swing back and follow through

Unity VR (4 years ago)
Everything is right except that his left arm are is too bent. His left arm should only be bent a bit. But I believe this video teaches clearly.
Unity VR (3 years ago)
+paulyrulo1 Nope, still bent. It is harder to see from that angle
paulyrulo1 (3 years ago)
+kevin lu  Its only bent during the demo...watch the actual swing at the beginning of the video and you'll see his left arm is very straight.
IronMike212 (4 years ago)
This guys videos don't teach anything.. I mean seriously. The video itself is just unprofessional.

quit being that guy it was an easy to follow and helpful video. I love golf but I hate the know it alls

Thank you, great help. Have struggled with Driver for years with a ballooning high flight. The spine tilt tip is excellent and important to hit ball on the up. Just come back from field where I hit 2 monsters. Flight was lovely penetrating rainbow flight. Tee peg stayed in the ground on on shot and went behind on the other, this is what should happen on a tee shot with Driver. Before mine shot forward as I would hit down on the ball. Not any longer. Video jug the way to great golf.

Johnny Nonny (4 years ago)
He should put way more emphasis on keeping your arms loose and relaxed. Also your grip should be about 10% on the club. It creates a whipping sensation when you do it correctly.
Jordan Raxter (1 year ago)
Johnny Nonny lol my brother just threw his driver up in a tree 2 days ago with his loose grip. Thought it was gonna get stuck for a second.
Mango (3 years ago)
Yes totally. I never really grip the club, just hold it enough so it doesn't fly out of my hands and knock out anyone behind me
Just did this for the past week went from slicing 200 yards to driving it straight 270-280 yards and getting a better chance at birdies. Thanks!

Ashley Erasmus (4 years ago)
Awesome video! Been struggling of late and knew it was in my setup but could not fix it. Leaning slightly to the right allows me to make a huge turn and hit it 280m down the middle again ( phew relief ) !!! Tx mate really appreciate it.
ChrisG (4 years ago)
not too hard when facing a paddock like that for a fairway - slightly harder on the road hole. 3 wood is never a bad option.
moreme40 (4 years ago)
I don't find the 3 wood much easier. They're both hard for me
I love this video. Simple. Easy to understand. Great visual angles.

@steelpanther88 - there's a key with a green light on the left side of your keyboard. It says, "caps lock". Press that key.

when addressing the ball make sure it is not to far forward in realtion to your stance. better to tee it up in the middle of your stance if you are hooking.

"lean the body to the right, behind the ball". Would this be true for all shots?
cameron long (5 years ago)
Really helpful! I'm 16, I can hit ball off the tee about 280 yards but always seem to pull it left. It's very irritating to see it happen. Great video thanks a lot!
Callum Dickson (5 years ago)
Great video, I'm 13 and I would say I hit drives quite far for my age (250 yards) but I always hit it to the right so this should help allot! Thankyou for this great video.
Farrell Waitkus (5 years ago)
Wow!!! I've been slicing for 2 years and I've never heard why I'm doing it put this simply... Great video!

what happens to me is one day ill drive good then suck at everything else then next day ill hit my irons good then ill suck at everything else lmao i cant be he only one that has this happen to lol
Matt Bedborough (5 years ago)
Lmao at the ending.. What a legend.
Brandon Willis (5 years ago)
You ever hear of a par 5? Or a par 3? You don't drive on a par 3. I don't at least. Anything under 250 yards, I pull my irons.
tigerbalm (5 years ago)
If you hit far, you don't get to hit with your irons. Less hits per round is no fun!
Luke (5 years ago)
That was a long step 2.
